Serviceworks has added this directory to be part of our plan to make almaguin.com to be the most comprehensive and complete local website or community portal. We have started with the Business Directory, and will be progressing to a Speakers Corner to allow local residents and visitors to participate in an open forum of discussions. A Classified AD section will follow along with a Community Calendar to keep everyone informed of events in the area. The site will be completely interactive to keep the information fresh and up to date. And of course we plan to continue to work on the Community section to keep the world informed of the individual Towns/Townships that make up the Almaguin Highlands. By keeping photo's and information online you will be able to attract new customers and make existing customers more fully aware of your services. Because of the broad search tool available to the user, they will be able to find you in an instance. As a member of this directory you can log in and change the information for your listing as you see fit. This information is kept private and secure and is accessed via your personal username and password.
So how do you become part of this site? To begin with, register your information, choosing your own username and password. Within a short period of time you will recieve an email to indicate you have been registered and you will then be able to return to the login page and enter your business information that will be shown in the business directory. It is very simple and there is no risk of you getting virus or junk email, as we have no intention of selling your email address to others. You have full control over the information that is displayed. Depending on the amount of information you want to display we have developed 3 levels of service. The BRONZE level is always free and will allow you to keep your basic business information front and centre at all times. To keep this listing active and up to date you will be required to update it every 3 months, or the listing will be removed from the list. The GOLD and SILVER listings will allow you much more freedom to display important information, documents, and pictures of your choosing.
Once you have chosen your service type then input your information. An invoice will be generated automatically, and you will be asked to send your payment to our address shown on the invoice. Once your payment has been recieved at our office, we will activate your listing, and it will be visible to all those that visit.
